So much sewing so little time!

That time of year again folks where I shall spam your accounts fall of pretty cars and couple famous people thrown in there! Yep festival of speed time XD
I was grandstand steward again this year working on park grandstand which is right outside the house track side! Best grandstand to work on! So started on Friday at 6.30am which for me lately is a lie in! Got given our wanderful lunch bags which would be opened up and you hope you will get some form of normal food, no luck this year though, turkey and colslaw or cheese and pickle roll and those new chocolate bars cadburys have bought out the apricot and cranberrie ones yuk!
Was amazing weekend! The super cars were simply outstanding as always, the sound they make just sends a tingle do my spine. The Bugati Veyron Pur Sang was out of this world! beautiful piece of machinery and beauty. There were also the pre-war cars, motorbikes, rally cars, historic and current F1 cars and nascar paying their first visit to FoS. Peter Fonda was there with his bike from Easy Rider celebrating 40 years since its release, so had "born to be wild" blasted out huge speakers on top the house while he rode up the hill.
Got to have a wander around on my lunch break so went up to the f1 paddock with my sister who was also working. We went over to the Mclaren area and got chatting to the team there and they let us in and took our photo right next to last years championship mclaren car! To top things off they let us hold the steering wheel out of it! I've held the steering wheel that Lewis Hamilton used to win the 2008 F1 championship! Also managed to get Bruno Sena's autograph while we were up there.
Did me some shopping while there as well getting a BrawnGP flag and Jenson Button hat and T-shirt, also got a Audi 100 top. On Sunday managed to get my jenson hat actually signed by jenson himself! He is such a nice guy ^_^ and got the Le Mans 24 winners autograph his name slips my mind atm. Justin Law set the fastest time on the hillclimb again this year with the same silk cut jaguar as last year but was a fraction slower this year at 44.40secs (44.19 in 2008).
Last couple of things, while working briefly on one of the VIP stands I met Lemar. Around midday sunday i went searching for someones programme under our stand and on my way out bashed my head on the underneath of the steps so have got a nasty bruise and small cut on the top of my head!
